Step 1. Visit IKEDC website map.ikejaelectric.com

Step 2. Enter your meter number

New customers are to enter their meter account to search for their profile.

Step 3. Complete KYC process

In this steps IKEDC customers will need to complete/update their details on the webpage to begin the account survey process.

Step 4. Debt repayment agreement

Customers are advised to pay up their unsettled bills by making use of the various repayment options available. Also unsettled balances can be rolled over into customer’s prepaid account and paid in installment in line with IKEDC’s repayment options.

Step 5. Meter payment and installation

All payments for the IKEDC prepaid meters should be made into authorized bank accounts advises by the MAP. No customers should pay in cash for IKEDC prepaid meter to any individual to avoid being swindled.

How long does it take to get ikedc prepaid meter

For customers who pay upfront, prepaid meters will be installed at the customers residence within 10 working days while for customers who paid installments will be metered in line with the maps installation schedule. After installation the activation process will then commence, this might take up-to 2 working days.

Below is the steps on how to activate ikeja electric prepaid meter:

Step 1. Kindly ensure power is restored in your area before carrying out the following process.

Step 2. Input the batteries in your (UIU box) monitor and make sure the UIU is connected to the meter.

Step 3. Input the meter number and press enter.

Step 4. Input the first 20 digits of the IKEDC prepaid meter token and press.

Step 5. Input the second 20 digit and press enter.

Step 6. Enter your recharge pin and press enter.

Step 7. Power will be restored in your premises.

Note: follow the step 2,3 & 6 if you have not receive the 40 digit activation pin.

How To Know When Your Prepaid Meter Has Been Activated

When the activation process is completed, an SMS will be sent to your mobile phone.
